🗳️ Public Voting

70 Marks

Public voting contributes a maximum of 70 marks to the final score.

👨‍⚖️ Judge's Score

30 Marks

One judge will evaluate each eligible handwriting entry according to the official marking criteria.

🏆 Final Score

100 Marks

Public Score (70 marks) + Judge’s Score (30 marks) = Final Score (100 marks).

🗳️ How Public Voting Is Calculated

Public Score = Vote Score (35) + Rating Score (35) = 70 Marks

1. Vote Score — 35 Marks

The entry receiving the highest number of valid votes will receive 35/35. Other entries receive marks proportionally according to their valid vote count.

Vote Score = (Participant’s Votes ÷ Highest Valid Votes) × 35

2. Rating Score — 35 Marks

Each voter can rate an entry from 1 to 5 stars. The average rating is converted into a maximum of 35 marks.

Rating Score = (Average Rating ÷ 5) × 35

Example

If the highest valid vote count is 2,000:

  • 2,000 votes = 35/35
  • 1,000 votes = 17.50/35
  • 500 votes = 8.75/35

If an entry has an average rating of 4.5/5:

  • 4.5/5 = 31.50/35

Final Public Score

Vote Score (35) + Rating Score (35) = Public Score (70)

Then the judge’s 30 marks are added:

Public Score (70) + Judge Score (30) = Final Score (100)
