بچھڑ جاؤں گا، اس جہاں سے چلا جاؤں گا،
کچھ کچھ کو یاد آؤں گا، باقیوں کو بھول جاؤں گا،
میرا کوئی وجود تھا، کبھی اس زمین پر،
پھر بس کبھی، کئی بار، باتوں میں رہ جاؤں گا،
کبھی میں بھی محفلوں کے لئے، ضروری سمجھا جاتا ہو گا،
