بن چراغوں کے یہ بام و در کچھ نھیں
لفظوں سے مرتے ھیں انسان خنجر کچھ نھیں
بغیر ستاروں کے تو آسمان بھی ویران ھے
تم بن کے جی رہا ھوں،،میں اب میں کچھ نھیں
کہاں ھوں؟ کیساھوں؟ لاپتہ ھوں میں
میرا کوچہ تیری یادوں کے سوا کچھ نھیں
میری خاموشیاں نہ سمجھ پائے اے ناداں تم
یہ بولتے لفظوں کی تکرار کچھ نھیں
چلو ماں لیا لکیروں کا دخل عروج پر تھا
مخلص تھی مخبت تیری ایسا بھی تو کچھ نھیں
کس بات کا غرور ھے تمھیں اے حور
ذات مٹی، اوقات مٹی، توں مٹی کے سوا کچھ نھیں
